Warranty terms

1. General

These warranty terms apply to repair services performed by Electronic Service Pro Oy, especially motherboard repairs and other electronics repair services.

Electronic Service Pro Oy provides a warranty for repairs in accordance with these terms.

2. Warranty Period

All completed repairs include a 12-month warranty starting from the date the device is delivered to or collected by the customer.

All repaired or replaced parts include a 12-month warranty.

Devices repaired due to water damage, and related repaired parts, include a 1-month warranty from the completion date of the repair.

3. Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers:

  • the original repaired fault
  • components replaced during the repair
  • repaired parts

If the same fault reappears during the warranty period, Electronic Service Pro Oy will repair the fault free of charge.

At its discretion, the company may:

  • repair the device again
  • replace defective components
  • or partially or fully refund the repair cost

4. Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

  • faults other than the original repaired issue
  • new faults unrelated to the completed repair
  • normal wear and tear
  • damage caused by the customer or third parties
  • faults caused by improper use
  • liquid, moisture, or impact damage occurring after the repair
  • software issues or operating system errors

The warranty becomes void if:

  • the device has been opened or repaired elsewhere without permission from Electronic Service Pro Oy
  • modifications have been made to the device after the repair

5. Repair Times

Electronic Service Pro Oy repairs a wide range of electronic devices, especially motherboards.

Repair times may vary depending on:

  • the nature of the fault
  • spare part availability
  • required software work or diagnostic procedures

If the repair requires ordered spare parts or software-related work, the repair process may take longer than usual.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must:

  • use the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions
  • back up all important data before sending the device for repair

Electronic Service Pro Oy is not responsible for data loss during the repair process.

7. Warranty Claims

In warranty cases, the customer must contact customer service before sending or bringing the device for service.

The company has the right to inspect the device and determine whether the fault is covered by the warranty.

If the fault is not covered by the warranty, the company may charge an inspection or handling fee.

8. Limitation of Liability

Electronic Service Pro Oy is not liable for indirect damages such as:

  • business interruption
  • loss of data
  • other indirect or consequential costs

9. Applicable Law

These warranty terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
